I have to admit, a trip to New York sounds quite appealing. However, I am not remotely interested in spending several hours on a charter bus.
If there was an alternate mode of transportation, I might consider going. As it is, it looks like I'll be one of the few who stay here at the school.
On the bright side, I should have plenty of uninterrupted practice time.

How do all of you manage to behave as if you are uneducated swine? Do you honestly have nothing better to do than discuss the physical attributes of the opposite sex? It is truly horrifying to think that our future is in the hands of this generation.
I woke up an hour earlier than usual. Rather than spending the extra time in the library, as I often do, I decided to go through one of the ballet pieces I've been working on. It's turning out beautifully, if I do say so myself.
After that, I was able to go through my usual routine. Though, I chose to stay in my room while I read over my assignments and prepared for the day. Luckily, my whore of a roommate is an early riser and I mostly had the space to myself. Besides, he is always in the library before breakfast. Usually, I can tolerate him. This morning, I simply wasn't in the mood.
My sister keeps hinting that I should come home this weekend. Why do I think she has some asinine party she wants to go to? No, I think I'll stay at school. I'm not remotely interested in watching drunken teenagers rub up against one another. Though, I suppose it's not much different than being here, is it?
